I create art in my home studio, usually with loud music blasting, a cup of coffee in hand, and my dog hanging out by my side. I layer pencil, oil pastel, and acrylic paint to craft vibrant, energetic pieces inspired by nature, emotion, and bold color combinations. My work as an art therapist and mental health counselor influences my creative flow, helping me connect deeply with emotion and the power of self-expression. On a good day this process gets me into a state of pure flow, where everything just clicks. It’s a grounding practice that brings me joy and keeps me connected to what matters.
